Careers Advice Plus Group Activities Resource Pack.
Careers Advice Plus is a Learning and Skills Council and European Social Fund programme in North East England. It began in August 2008 and will continue until December 2010.
Its aim is to provide individually tailored advice and guidance to people who are unemployed and economically inactive; to support them on their journey to learning and work. The programme offers both intensive one-to-one consultations and a choice of group activities. Careers Advice Plus is delivered by a network of delivery partners across the region.
This Careers Advice Plus Group Activities Resource Pack has been produced for Careers Advisers leading Careers Advice Plus group activities. It consists of session plans with learning outcomes, information about preparation and materials required, detailed session content and timings.
The pack has been designed to be used flexibly - each session can be delivered as a one-off or combined with others to build a longer programme.
